$/$$ : This authentic English pub offers a selection of more than 200 beers, Folk Music, Jazz and Blues live almost every night of the week and year, and a late-night food menu (11:00 p.m.) except high season.
Apsara
$$ : This restaurant offers traditional cuisine from Cambodia, Thailand and Vietnam. Fresh, tasty and varied food, with attentive service even late at night. Excellent value.
Le Saint-Amour
$$$-$$$$$ : High place of Quebec gastronomy combining tradition and innovation. From the lunch menu to the very affordable price at the Grand Discovery Menu. You will enjoy for sure.
Le Continental
$$$-$$$$$ :  Rendez-vous of the classics of traditional cuisine, you will go there as much for the performance of their special tableside service as for the quality of the dishes: tenderloin of beef Continental, shrimp flambé, Chateaubriand and duck à l'orange all prepared right in front of you, or an excellent Dover sole meunière.

Il Matto
$$-$$$ : Chic and trendy Italian restaurant, in a quiet area close to the Petit Champlain neighborhood, Il Matto offers a beautiful setting  and tasty Italian cuisine, including very good pasta and antipasti. The menu is not plethoric but everything is good, fresh and generous. Very good selection of Italian wines, attentive service.
L'Échaudé
$$-$$$ : In a large room with Parisian brasserie accents and frequented by regulars, you can choose between seasonal cuisine and the many classics that make the reputation of the house. Vast choice of wines giving pride of place to French wines. Professional and friendly service. Good deal: after 9:00 p.m. the bistro menu is offered with a 20% discount.
Bistro sous le fort
$$ : Located at the foot of the funicular, this small restaurant has been offering sandwiches, grilled foods, salads and fish plates for over 15 years. The quality/price ratio is very good, as well as the cuisine itself.

Les Cousins
$ : Located on Cartier Street, this establishment offers a wide choice of breads, pastries, ready-made meals, cheeses and cold meats to eat on site or to take away. The perfect place to prepare gourmet picnics. Do not miss their Lobster roll.
Metropolitain
$$/$$$: Located on bustling Cartier Street, this sushi bar offers a menu mixing the classics with house specialties. Tasty and very fresh, each order is prepared by the minute in front of you, you can enjoy your sushi on the spot or to take away. Try the Caterpillar.
Graffiti
$$$ : Another must-have on Cartier, Le Graffiti offers fine and generous cuisine strongly influenced by the Italian and French gastronomy in a beautiful setting. Excellent wine list and efficient service, ideal for romantic dinners.
Le Billig
$$ : Lovers of savory cakes or sweet crepes look no futher, this is THE creperie of Quebec, take Briton's word for it. Everything is good, wide selection of traditionally-made ciders, the perfect address for any times of the day. A group of American customers from Hong Kong even returned twice on the same day.
Petits creux Corsica
$$/$$$ : Another superb address on Cartier, Petits Creux-Grands Crus offers a cuisine with accents of the french Ile de Beauté, Corsica, and a masterful wine list emphasizing private imports. Take the time to treat yourself and enjoy. Special mention for the staff, who are attentive, professional, and do their job to perfection. You will have undestand why this is one of our favorites for 2018.
Le Bistro B
$$$/$$$$ : Decidedly Cartier Street has many surprises. The B is a neighborhood bistro bubbling with cooking sounds and lively conversations. Refined cuisine that bases its success on top quality products and mastery of cooking and seasonings. If you can, sit at the bar and enjoy the show of the kitchen.
L'Ophelia
$$$/$$$$ : One of the lastest arrivals on the gastronomic scene of Quebec. Located in the trendy district of Grande - Allée, this fantastic address has become in just a few months, the Steakhouse and seafood reference in Quebec. Embark on a journey between Earth and Sea and don't miss the desserts, they are excellent.
L'Albacore
$$ / $$$ :  This restaurant, located near Place d'Youville, offers a menu mainly based on fish and seafood although meat is also present on the list of main courses. In a relaxed atmosphere, you can share and taste an inventive and tasty cuisine accompanied by a very interesting choice of wines, including lovely organic options.
